Bangladesh is an exciting country with many unusual, interesting, and beautiful things to see. So what are our top ten reasons to come to Bangladesh?
Reason #1: Tiger tracking in the amazing Sundarban Forest, the world’s largest mangrove forest and World Heritage Site.
Reason #2: Ability to have an authentic cultural experience in a mud village that is untouched by tourism.
Reason #3: Boat tours in the world’s largest river delta.
Reason #4: Five color tea served at a working tea plantation.
Reason #5: Dinner for under $1.
Reason #6: Rickshaw rides in the monsoon.
Reason #7: Sweet, fried zilapis and fresh coconut milk during Ifetar (the evening feast after the daily Ramadan fast).
Reason #8: 54 different tribal cultures – many located in the largely unexplored Chittagong Hill Tracts.
Reason #9: A glimpse of the rare Irrawaddy dolphins at the mouth of the Bay of Bengal.
Reason #10: The unparalleled friendliness and hospitality of the Bangladeshi people.

Really i love bangla, my bangladesh.
First of all, kudos to you Kristin for such a nice write-up on Bangladesh.
Indeed, as you put it rightly, it is next door to impossible for anyone to choose just a few things among so many of the nicer facets of Bangladesh. But I feel you have put the nail right on the head with those points.
Only if I may add one of my most favorite places to visit in Bangladesh, now that we are talking about traveling as well. It’s the St. Martin’s Island – one of the most serene & tranquil places to visit in Bangladesh.
If you love blue sea water and corals, this is the place to go. And for sea food lovers – well, the fresh lobsters, pomfrets and crabs are just a few of the delicacies that are bound to bring water to your tongue and incite your taste buds! Enjoy the places and do have a visit folks.
I can’t recommend it more not just because it’s my country but for I know how pure the sights and sounds of this green country is.
i am so honoured to learn that its not only me as a bangladeshi but also a non bangladeshi who is curious about my country..you have done a very good job…much appreciated…
