I am writing this blog from the Panigram Pavilion. All I have to say is that I have the greatest life! I think the photos speak for themselves!

View from the Panigram Pavilion

Molly relaxing in the hammock

I took Molly on a boat tour of the area...

I showed her the project site from the water. (The sky really was this blue!)

They are still harvesting jute along the river.

A picture of tranquility in the gorgeous Bangladeshi countryside...

More jute stacks across from the pavilion.

Panigram is located at the intersection of two rivers - the Kapotoko and a smaller canal. This is a glimpse of the canal...

We plan to put the spa on the other side of this canal.
I think I have the most beautiful office in the world!
Panigram Resort is totally a different trend of Eco tourism… the above pictures look really refreshing. Wish to spent my vacation here.
Thanks a lot sharing with us.
We hope to open Panigram in fall 2011!
It is fantabulous……….!!!!
I’m thrilled and excited to visit the place

Dear Kristin,
I had heard about the project a while ago but just made time to visit your site. Wish you success and support in your project and when I am next in Bangladesh I will make a note to visit you in Jessore.
Best wishes - Iqbal
your step to our development goal in the field of tourism will be a milestone in our day to day progress. wishing your success.
Congratulations for the innovative idea !! I hope that this kind of resort can be helpful for the tourist to remove boredom and monotony of their day to day life. It will also introduce the natural and cultural heritage of Bangladesh to the world. well-done. Thanks.Enam,Jessore
Quadir,
We are taking a dual approach to security. First (and most important in my opinion), we are working with the local community and have been very successful in garnering their support. They see Panigram as THEIR project as well as ours, and have already naturally begun to protect the project site. Second, we will put a security wall with guards around the perimeter of the resort. Though our project area is not in an insurgent area, it is always a prudent precaution. Plus, the wall will help keep our curious Bangladeshi neighbors from inadvertently disturbing the guests…
great pics….nice view
was just wondering what do u guys have planned for security measures? coz in the countryside u sure will need securitty so that u dont randomly looted or extorted (sometimes by politically backed parties)
really hope u guys succeed and expand into even more attractive areas such as cox’s bazaar, kuakata and sylhet
all the best!!!
Fantastic - keep up…
Don’t get bogged down with comments like dejected despodant, Iftekhar, was it!
