Once-in-a-Lifetime Teaching Opportunity in Bangladesh

It’s an English teacher’s dream job. Design your own curriculum, use the teaching methods you prefer, work with a local community of motivated learners. If you want a truly unique and rewarding teaching experience, come to Panigram Resort. We are currently looking for one more instructor to help develop a hospitality-oriented English curriculum and teach the local villagers the skills they’ll need to work in a five-star eco resort.

While the resort is under construction, we will host you in our lovely four-bedroom house with a chef and a maid do your laundry, clean your home, make your bed, and cook three meals a day for you. Once the staff quarters at the resort are built, you will move from the four-bedroom house to a five-star resort. For more information about the resort, visit www.panigram.com.

Panigram Resort is currently still under construction, but we anticipate having our soft opening at the end of 2013 and our grand opening in late spring 2014. This position will start in June 2013.

Qualifications:
•    Native English speaker
•    Great with people
•    Adventurous
•    Desire to be completely immersed in another culture
•    ESL teaching certification; preferred but not required
•    ESL teaching experience; preferred but not required

Compensation:
•    Housing included
•    All meals included
•    Small wage (more than enough for any additional living expenses)
•    Airfare to and from Bangladesh is reimbursed at the completion of contract

    Dear Sir/Madam
    I am intersted in applying for the teaching English job in the resort but before I do I would like to know whether it is still available.

    I am a qualified ESL teacher and have worked in Vocational Education in Australia as a Trainer in Hospitality and Business and in management positions in Colleges for nearly 20 years.

    I completed my training in Thailand this year an altough I have not had a lot of experience as an ESL teacher I have had a lot of teaching experience in the vocational sector including designing and delivery teaching programs.

      Thank you for your interest in the English Teacher position. Unfortunately, we have just hired our second teacher. Currently, we have no more openings for this position.     Dear Ms. Kristin,
    Hope you are fine and healthy. I am not sure if you have received my mail or not. I have sent you 3 mails regarding my interest on English Teacher job and Entrepreneurship internship. I have long term experience about community service and teaching in international instituition. I also did a summer project on “Handicrafts Artisans in Bangladesh” last year, while being an undergrad 2nd year student at Asian University for Women(AUW).

    I and one of my friend here at AUW, are eagerly interested to know if we can still apply for the job for next summer, 2013. We will be having summer vaccation from mid of May to August. We are highly interest in your project, and want to learn more about it by being a part of this rewarding program.
