Resort Master Planning Under Way

Yesterday I met with my architect and got a sneak peak at Panigram’s master plan. I don’t want to give anything away yet (I will post the master plan online at the end of May), but I can tell you that there were some very exciting and surprising elements and that so far the concept is evolving to be even more magnificent than I had originally imagined! (Picture a hidden bamboo cafe, a secret garden, and meandering pathways punctuated by water features…)

I am going to Jessore on Sunday to buy the next piece of land for the project and to work with Marina to finalize the location of the Phase I buildings. We are on target to break ground the first week of June!

Our construction process will be well-documented this summer as I have a new crop of interns coming in. So stay tuned for more updates!

Fresh, Healthy Food at the Panigram Pavilion

My intern Janine spent the summer researching Bangladeshi cooking and creating fusion recipes for the investor meeting at the Panigram Pavilion. All of my guests agreed that the food was amazingly delicious and the perfect blend of east and west. Many of them were surprised, however, to learn that the food was also very healthy!

A Little SEO Goes a Long Way…

I am very happy to report that Panigram Resort is now #1 on a Google search for “resorts in Bangladesh”, #1 for “eco resorts in Bangladesh”, #2 for “Bangladesh resorts”, and #2 for “spa resorts in Bangladesh”!

I think we moved up in rankings because we optimized some of our web pages and have been getting a lot more press lately (which in turn links back to our site). Thanks to my intern Brian for delivering the great news!
